a. Essential Cookies
These cookies are required for the website and Ckvens application to function. They manage authentication, security, and session continuity.

c. Support Chat (Chatwoot)
The in-app support chat is provided by Chatwoot, a third-party service loaded from app.chatwoot.com. The chat widget does not load until you have explicitly accepted a privacy notice shown the first time you open it. Once accepted, Chatwoot stores a conversation token in your browser (cookies and local storage) so that your support conversation can continue across visits.

d. Marketing Cookies
Ckvens currently does not use marketing or third-party advertising cookies.
4. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, the Ckvens application uses browser local storage to persist user preferences — for example timeline and table view settings, sort orders, font sizes, relation map view state, editor configurations, your chosen AI response mode, and dismissed notices (including your support-chat privacy acceptance). This data is stored locally on your device, is not transmitted to our servers, and can be cleared through your browser settings.
5. Managing Cookies
You can manage or withdraw your cookie consent at any time:
- Disable or delete cookies through your browser settings.
- Clear local storage via your browser’s developer tools or settings.
If you disable essential cookies, some parts of the Ckvens service may not function properly. If you clear the support-chat token, your support conversation history will no longer be linked to your browser.

Cookies are stored for different periods depending on their purpose:
- Session cookies expire when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain until manually deleted or they expire automatically (typically within 12 months).
- Local storage data (including the support-chat conversation token) persists until manually cleared or the application removes it.
